Canes will hard pass. Myers is a cap dump even at 3m, Rathbone wont crack the roster and Boeser is a defensive catastrophe which is the opposite type of player they would want playing in their system. Gotta add a lot more quality picks in there to take on these players

Svechnikov's healthy, he's already skating. That's now, in late August. When October runs around, he'll be fine

Myers for cap balance for the Canucks & believe his size & grit a better fit in Carolina. He’d have good value at the TDL for only a 3m cap hit.

Rathbone is offensive skating D depth. Big shot & young & cheap.

Boeser is not a defensive catastrophe & no idea where you got that. His skating could use another gear though. Canes need more scoring.

As for picks that is negotiable to what degree idk.

An unsigned UFA is a risk & limits the return.

Boeser's 5v5 defensive impact is in the gutter. He relies on his linemates to drive the line for him and isn't the greatest skater. Again, quite opposite to the type of player the Canes would deploy.

Myers whole debacle is he incapable of playing top 4 roles and is massively overpaid. He's not the defenseman he was years ago and even despite being big, is like a quarter of what Pesce is. They'd be downgrading huge there.

Rathbone has struggled to make the Canucks roster so what makes you think he cracks the Canes roster? He likely gets waived and sent down.
