Sekera is a big contract. Those are hard to move, ask any team looking to move a big contract. McDavid's salary is a killer in a cap year. Not saying he is not worth it, but that number is huge

Draisaitl at $7M while McDavid is at $13M is insane, if Draisaitl doesn't get at least 10 I'll be shocked.
Absolutely no way Sekera gets move for "prospects or picks" not even worth a 7th round pick, you'd have to give up picks and retain salary to move him.
RNG for Dumba is just dumb. No way Minnesota, who already has cap structure problems, trades for a $6M player who puts up 40 points a year. I think Dumba is overrated but RNG is way too overrated in this deal.
So you have to unsign Stafford to make room for the $11.5M you have to play Nuge and Sekera, then resign Draisaitl to a more realistic contract(which you have no salary to do so with RNG and Sekera), also you're leaving no salary for Puljujarvi.

Very difficult, almost impossible to trade RHN and Sekera without taking similar money back. Seems to be a common theme....sign RFAs and UFAs and my overpaid players can be disposed easily....sorry doesn't happen.
