Could just trade or waive Jarnkrok and ice a 22 man roster but here we are. 🤔

The issue is, beyond Reaves (whose locker room presence I will give a 👍 to), who goes? Really, the mix of forwards is right. And giving up on Timmins is a place most of us don't wanna do.

With the Atlantic taking a step back competitively (and it has), this set up may not be ideal, but it could function.

I have been saying the 11-7 set up is exactly how this is going to go for a while. Not what I want, but what is likely to be.

Why is Jarnkrok irreplaceable? What am I missing with him? 🤔

The guy is a total Swiss Army knife. Can play all three foward positions. Defensively sound and can play up the line up. A very underrated player imo. There is nothing about Jarnkrok's game that stands out, but everything about his game is done right.

One can replace facets of his game yes. Not sure you replace him totally.... and certainly not for that cap hit.

You make him sound as if he's Patrice Bergeron. If Jarnkrok is that good shouldn't he be making 8 mil AAV? I'm not buying it.

Oh please don't put words on my mouth. At no point did I ever say he was Selke worthy or HHOF material. I said he was a Swiss Army knife who did little things right. Where in the hell you get Bergeron out of that is beyond me short of trying to justify an argument that doesn't need justifying.

He is a solid 3rd liner that you think is easy to replace. He simply isn't. He does more than people notice. Facets of his game can be replaced yes. But in bringing in a ELC replacement, there will be concessions.
