Beauvillier trade is solid, I jus think the hawks would rather a RHD over another prospect LHD though… (Myers?) as Kyle davidson has said he’s in the market for another veteran RHD

Hawks easily decline. They aren't giving up a 2nd for Beau. They don't even have a spot for him in the lineup. And Rathbone is the definition of "unneeded" for the Hawks. He has zero value to them.

Hawks aren't trading away a 2nd for a one year rental. That's the opposite of what teams just starting a rebuild do. As for the Hawks right side, Raddysh will be one of the two top 6 RW, and either Johnson or Anthanasou will be the other. You really want to spend a 2nd to upgrade 3RW from Donato or Kurashev to Beau? I'd much rather keep the pick. Besides, if Kyle from Chicago was really interested in adding another RW, Hawks could sign a UFA like Tatar and hang on to that pick. Value might be fair but this deal makes no sense for a rebuilding Hawks team.

All your points are valid, I just see it as getting a legit RW instead of Johnson/AA who barely play it. It’s definently an upgrade from Johnson id say and im sure Kyle isn’t planning on using all our seconds this year. As for tatar who knows. If he really likes beauvillier I could see him as a good 1RW/2RW for the next year or two
