I would think NSH declines. I wouldn't be upset if this got announced tomorrow, as I'm not opposed to Guentzel, but I have similar concerns with him that I do Nylander. NSH really won't be competing for 2-3 years, even with Guentzel. They might make the playoffs, but the team is not equipped to win a cup. Its a big question mark on if Guentzel will still produce 30-40 goals in his early 30's. Like Nylander, he fits NSH's window, but only barely. Additionally, Guentzel needs a new contract, and while cap isn't exactly an issue for NSH, how much Guentzel might want is something to consider, and NSH would want an extension as part of the deal. With all of this to consider and NSH still being on the route of a soft rebuild themselves its hard to imagine giving up this much for a winger when their wing pool is pretty deep. If Guentzel was a center I would probably say deal, but alas he is not
