A lot of people seem to forget that the 2018 Scandal had WJ players apart of it but not everyone included played on the team. My assumption is it was only 1-2 players from the Canada WJ team .. Also heard rumors that majority if not all of the players involved were from the London Knights. Which included Formenton and makes sense why they didn't renew his contract last year and he sat out. I highly doubt Batherson was a part of it, or he wouldn't have played last year or would have heard something. I find it very strange people are throwing his name under the bus and associating him with this when there is no proof, he is a part of it. Give these kids the benefit of the doubt and wait until the names are released before associating their names with something like this.

I do think it's stupid to prepare a team assuming that a player will be suspended/contract terminated. Right now, Batherson will be a Senator, and that's what should be assumed.

I think the reason he played was because of the whole "innocent until proven guilty". Maybe there were no evidence that came into the light at the time

If this was the reason, and they were going by "innocent until proven guilty" then how come Formenton didn't get a contract and had to sit out the season? But exactly, until the report come out, we will never know. So, what the point of constantly throwing all these players names under the bus that played for the Canada WJ team.
