Trade 1.
San Jose gets a flippable asset in veteran goalie Jake Allen, as well as a very promising, physical d-man in Jayden Struble, and an underperforming, yet promising forward prospect in Ty Smilanic, as well as a 3rd for only Kahkonen and a 5th.
Trade 2.
Tampa gets $300,000 in cap space and 2 upgrades on their players given up in exchange for a physical 7th round forward prospect who will be in Europe until he's 21.
Trade 3.
Washington gets $3M in cap space, without really dumping Mantha and get some depth scoring to replace Aube-Kubel for cheaper, and Hoffman at 50% who can play into the top 6 if Pacioretty gets injured again. They also get a very talented, hard working young forward in Vinzenz Rohrer who stood out for Austria at the World Juniors.
Taking on Myers isn't the best, and with him removed, the Caps get $4.4M in space rather than $3M. I'd consider dumping him in a different trade to a different team.
Trade 4-
Pittsburgh gets $3M in cap space as well, while upgrading on Rutta, dumping Granlund, getting a tad bit of depth in Aube-Kubel, and prospect Rhett Pitlick(juicy highlight goal) In exchange for Sergei Murashov, a promising young goalie and 2 mid picks.
Trading Monahan-
If Monahan can keep healthy, and stay on last year's pace, I'd believe that he would quickly fetch a 2nd and 3rd from a contender. The problem is finding a team in need of a 3rd-fringe 2nd line player(he absolutely does not need to play center) The teams I've noted are the; Bruins, Sabres, Canes, Avs, Stars, Oilers, Rangers, Kraken. He's at a very movable cap hit, that undervalues what he can bring to the table.
Addressing The Other 4
Dvo-
starts the season on IR, but at 50% could fetch some assets.
Mantha-
Same thing with Dvo, and either could be packaged with Ylonen.
Granlund-
Still has a year left, and could be traded next year for 50%.
Ruuta-
Exact same thing as Granlund, and withvretention he'd leave the 3rd spot open for a UFA to be signed then traded, random retention as 3rd party, or dump to be traded.
At the end of this ACGM, the Habs will have roughly $16M in cap space to work with for next season.
Disagree with the other Caps fan, I think they do take that deal. They're in cap hell and currently can't ice a full team. Myers doesn't move the needle one way or the other, so if you take him out I think the trade remains unchanged.

I can totally see a Hoffman retained and Mantha swap, thought I’d prefer not to do it. The caps do need to save cap but i can’t see them giving up Mantha and NAK and a pick for a retained Hoffman and what appears to be not much other value (thought maybe they are better prospects than they appear)

Archibald and Aube-Kubel had the same 12 points, albeit Archibald got it in 9 more games. That swap alone for points at least opens up $300K in cap. I understand the defensive side, but Archibald is kind of a complimentary energy guy with some upside. Lot of people value Rohrer pretty high(I don't see a spot for him on the Habs, but he'd easily make a run for the show on the Caps). As I noted before, that 3rd could easily become a 4th+5th, and Myers can be removed opening $4.4M instead of $3M.
