You can easily bury macdermid as JJ is the 7th dmen and you can still sign a 13th forward even with kovalenko coming over

Let him get picked up on waivers. If he brought value he would be a mainstay. He only plays if someone needs rest or bunch of injuries. We have enforcers know that will drop the gloves. Love macdermid but dude is expandable. Avs are one injury away from making macdermid a starter on defense If they don't sign a depth dmen.

Which I why I really think we should spend money on Caleb Jones, as I said in this ACGM. I don't ever want MacDermid to be a full-time player for any length of time, but I see his value in being an ideal 8th/13th.

Hunt and MacDermid played 47 and 44 games respectively last season. Why would they not be the primary options to fill in for injuries on D?
