but it could be. My guess is this could spike the 2nd half ticket sales for the Hawks.

I would love for Kane to return but I'm pretty sure they've moved on from the old core leadership and want the new era to develop their own identity.

I am so refreshed to be a Hawks fan again... the last few years were bad... not as bad as the late 90's early 00's bad but coming off the Cup runs it was hard to see those glory days gone. With Bedard leading the way I know those glory days will be back sooner rather than later!

LET'S GO HAWKS!

Late 90's and early 00's were definitely trying times. I remember being optimistic with the ABC line and Sully/Nylander/Daze and thought they'd make this team a contender. Boy was I wrong lol. The positive during that time was how easily accessible those players were. I met most of those guys at the Edge Ice Arena in Bensenville the couple of weeks leading up to spring training.

That's awesome, it all started for me as a kid meeting Chelios at the Homewood Aurelios Pizza he's always been my hockey hero and I was crushed when he was traded but so happy that he is back in the organization. I heard they might be considering hanging 7 in the rafters this year against the Wings game in February!

Not happening, good concept and fun to think about but hawks management and Kane have both moved on. Could I see Kane coming back in a couple years to end his career after making a couple more runs....yes, but until that he doesn't want to be rebuilding after suffering the last few years.
