Scared of what getting a lower draft selection

Leafs bottom 6 is going to be very good. They have a lot of depth. Gambrell won't be in it.

Robertson-Domi-Jarnkrok as a 3rd line would be a lot of fun. Jarnkrok dropped 20 and 20 this past year
Kampf is a super defensive, hard working C. Lafferty can play all 3 positions very well and is super speedy. Reaves is what he is. I would prefer a different option but he will only play 4-6 mins a game anyways.

Outside of that we have

McCmann-Holmberg-Steeves (all can confortably play in the NHL) and we have Gambrell as another depth piece.

Leafs bottom 6 will be just fine.

Biggest issue I see with this team, is they are lacking size and physicality in their D.

Very good might be a bit of a stretch. I'm not taking anyone's word on Robertson until I see 40+ games from him. Kampf and Jarnkrok are good, but that 4th line is meh. And yes Reaves is just there, which isn't bad but that cap hit isn't the greatest.

Thank you for the feedback! One thing I will say is that I think Dylan Gambrell has a pretty decent chance of starting with the Leafs currently just because he is capable of playing centre on the penalty kill. Outside of Kampf, the rest of the centres on the pk will be by committee IMO (Lafferty, Jarnkrok, Gambrell, etc.). I really like Pontus Holmberg and would consider slotting him ahead of Gambrell, but I feel that the organization is going to send Holmberg down anyways since its probably a close call and he can clear waivers and play more minutes. Just my two cents, you totally could be right about Gambrell but we will have to see the opening night lineup. I would say Robertson starts with the Marlies too barring him dominating pre-season. With the Marlies, Robertson can regain his confidence having missed so many games last year. I personally think that would be best for Robertson's progression but I would love to hear what you think about my perspective!
