Agreed! They are very tight with money right now in their cup window. The cost of players growing into big pieces and winning..

SJS isn't giving up their 2nd, but I don't hate the barb/girard trade concept. I suspect we could retain on Barb given the right price.

I think they keep about 1 mill in cap space this year for the deadline. Make it easier to bring on spare parts in February

I could totally see that. Essentially that would just be the Bear signing I have here. Not sure if they feel they are in a place to take a chance on a D man coming off a shoulder injury anyways.
