You chose a lot of middle value contracts. I think you could make a better team by picking out the players on very cheap deals that are way underpaid and due for an extension, leaving room for the cheaper of the real superstars. For example, the difference between Kempe and Jason Robertson is roughtly 2m, and that difference can be pretty much covered by swapping Forsberg for Logan Thompson.

The players I think are inefficient uses of cap space are Verhaeghe, Mittelstadt, Pavelski, Kempe, Duchene, Kakko, Tanev, Whitecloud, Forsling, and Forsberg. Replacing some with cheaper players of similar value can free up cap space for upgrading the rest.
