Don't think this would be the trade package but I honestly think Toronto should be looking to move Matthews if he's asking for more then 12M AAV, he would fetch a haul of players and picks to build the team with.

A team in a tax free state would be the best spot for Matthews. They wouldn't have to pay him a cap hit of 12M+, they could get away with like 10M and he would be making more money.
Maybe Dallas or Florida?.. although Vegas is never shy to change things up to get the best player available.

matthews has never been the problem the tavares contract and his 1 dimensional play has always been the problem. taveres has no clue never has from the day he came into the league what defense means and how to play it.
matthews to dallas would be great deal especially when seguine and benn are both done.
