I fully expect them to hold 23 on the roster at all times.

I think Foudy/Bemstrom can be carried as extra forwards. Foudy feels like a guy who can slot into the bottom 6 while Bemstrom can fill more of a scoring role if one the top 6 wingers goes down. I think Sillinger and Chinakhov should start in the AHL so they can get top line minutes and PP time. We don't want them to be career 3rd liners. If they're viewed as staples in the lineup and they are going to get meaningful minutes then Bemstrom and Foudy can be waived. I just don't see the ceiling with Foudy and Bemstrom could really use a change of scenery.

I am actually more worried about TFW being claimed on waivers. He lit up the AHL and plays with a physical edge, I know he's undersized but he's more skilled than more physical than the other 2. He might get some looks.

Voronkov I had starting in the AHL as well. I think he can take a bit of time to adjust to playing in North America like Marchenko did but I bet he's full time by New Years. I assume there will be some injuries by then. I think he slots into the lineup even sooner if Roslovic is moved.

I think Danforth brings more to the lineup than both Foudy and Bemstrom. He is a guy I would be comfortable sitting as an extra because you just know he will bring it every night. Bemstrom and Foudy were pretty inconsistent coming out of the press box.

I started Blankenburg in the AHL because he doesn't require waivers. I really don't see a defender being traded after last season. If Blankburg is your 8th D your have a much better shot than if he's relied on as a top 4 guy. Jiricek starts in the AHL until he gets a top 4 shot no rush.

Really excited about all this depth. I think this team will be really competitive internally and should compete for a wild card spot. If injuries are anything like last year though we're doomed.

Last note:
I don't think Roslovic will get traded. After seeing the Yammamoto and Bailey buyouts I just don't see a market for him unless there is salary retained. But why trade him unless you're replacing him with a roster player? Just subtracting him makes the team worse in my opinion. If a guy gets moved I think it would be Robinson.. but even then teams can find a guy as good or better at a lower dollar amount
