The Canes wouldn’t trade Necas alone for Nylander.

The Canes would essentially be renting Nylander, no chance they give him Aho money. They’ll be happy keeping Necas, who’s younger, basically produces 80-90% of what Nylander does for less than half the price.

And I haven’t even yet started talking about Pesce…

Can’t wait till one or both of pesce and nylander are moved or extended, going crazy.

Once again, canes decline. Is Pesce was willing to sign in that range the extension would’ve been announced 7/1. In your scenario the canes gladly extend both those players and keep them versus paying Nylander as the highest paid guy on our team.

You guys can extend nylander in 9-10 range.

Leafs fans have to stop with nylander to the Canes. It ain’t happening unless it’s a sign and trade and retain half of his $9-10m salary.

And you’re not getting anything more than Pesce straight up.
