I know this isn't realistic, but if I was Drury this is what I would do next:

I'm guessing at least one of Miller and Laf will request arbitration which should open a second buyout window for us, in which I think we should buyout Goodrow. We should resign them to bridge deals while the cap is low, then worry about their new contracts once the cap's gone up.

I think it's imperative we give both Kakko and Laf a top 6 role for their development. The side Kreider plays doesn't matter all he has to do is crash the net, so that opens up the 1LW for Laf if Kreider moves to the right. Breadman needs a strong two way forward on his wing to make space for him and Kakko has already carved out a nice role for himself as a good two way player on the team so he should fit well there.

We just gave Chytil a big payday too so we need to give him the opportunity to succeed, Wheeler should be a good RW for him and I've always loved Tomasino as a player so I think he'd be a great fit on Chytil's left side.

I don't know if this is an overpay or underpay for Tomasino but this is my best guess at his value.
