I don't know. Heard some news he wants top dollar. But of course shouldn't listen too much on gossip. But it feels like Wheeler and Gustafsson are potential replacements for Laffy and Miller.

So wheeler a Right Wing (and only a RW) is a replacement for Laf (a Left wing).

Gustafsson is the guy to push jones, not miller. Schneider needs a puck mover on his pair, and jones can be it, but needs to earn the spot. This is the rangers way of forcing jones to earn it and not let him just be handed the job.

The signings are to allow othmann cuylle and jones to not be handed NHL positions before camp even starts and let them develop, which is very necessary.

Laffy has no leverage. He should get $2.5m max and KAM should be $4m or less

He has less leverage than before the free agency I agree. But lets say he goes PLD on us. And just shows up and stop caring.

He been patient, 3 years in the bottom 6. I still don't see him getting top 6 min and NYR just keeps piling up 35 + year old players. It is just so very strange.
