I think you're going to have a hard time getting Pecas or Necas. I think that if there is a deal it's going to be something like this way maybe a few sweeteners going to Toronto to take both one-year contracts for Nylander

I wouldn't do TURBO straight up for Nylander . Nylander has played his whole career on a team that doesn't take defence serious . Leafs play wide open pond hockey all year long Nylanders numbers are inflated by this as are Leafs players numbers . He also gets to play with Mathews and Tavares not to mention Marner again inflating his numbers . He is also soft and gutless when forchecked . Why would Carolina want to take on him and his new contract . Apparently he is asking for 8 x 9.5 mil . Hurricanes are better of giving less then that to Tarasenko , Kane , Bertuzzi and with less term . And at least these guys show up when it counts .

You're are probably more likely to get Necas considering how crowded the top six is likely to become in Carolina (if Nylander is coming the other way)

Yeah... That was my thinking, I also prefer Necas to Pesce anyway and think they could get a little more with Necas than with Pesce. And TBH, I'd rather move Marner than Nylander

Turbo is Teravainens nick name . And I am a Hawks fan by the way . Not knowing turbo tells me you don't know much about the player . Not be literate enough to read the difference between Hawks fan and Habs fan on my bio tells me alot about you . And yes I watch the Leafs lose constantly in the playoffs .

Putting up points in the playoffs is one thing playing to win playoff hockey is a totally different thing . Not saying he's a bad player , I'm saying he is soft 🍦 and does not and will not play playoff hockey . At least Marner crosses into his on blue and tries to help defencevly . And like I said let someone else give him his 8 x 9.5 mil . If you followed the hurricanes you would know they won't just blow up there salary cap structure with Aho , Slavin , Pesce ,Jarvis ,Drury , Necas contracts all coming up for renewal . That would be as stupid as the Leafs signing Tavares and trashing there whole salary cap plan .

No, I don't know much about Teuvo... I just know enough to know that I'd rather Necas over him though... I've also watched the Leafs choke constantly to be only one of a few to want the leafs to ship Marner as quick as possible... But, comparing Nylander to other signings (Stuzle, Bratt, Caufield)... He's an 8 million dollar player... If he signs for 8 years at 9.5... I'm fine with that as the cap will go up (Only if Matthews also extends)
