Gustafsson is a LD we really didnt need one of those we needed a RD hes the guy and if u play your cards right u got a potential 10-15 goal scorer on that blue line besides Rielly

Rielly is not a 10-15 goal scorer tbh. And klingberg might be the only defencman in the league that’s worse at defence than Rielly.. having two of those kind of players on the same blue line is a recipe for disaster. We literally did it in 19-20 with Barrie. There’s no angle at which this signing isn’t a disaster. I want management to answer. There has to be a reason.

See this is entirely not true. The reason Barrie didnt work here is for one our defensive depth sucked and second Babcock didnt know how to use him

Our blue line had Ceci, an injured Muzzin, and Dermott on the team. Now we got upgrades over all 3 (well maybe besides Muzzin but whateves)
