Pekar for Thompson?

Don’t think so. Only reason NJ might have to move Thompson is because he requires waivers this year to go to the AHL and they dont want to lose him for nothing. Pekar would be the same. NJ may have interest in trading for a prospect if they are waiver exempt.

So there is no reason for Sabres to trade for him. He wouldn't sniff top 13.

I just want him so he can be with his brother. I wouldn't trade more than Pekar or another middling prospect for him. Maybe a 6th or 7th.

If you dont think so, then no, not really. Dont know the bottom of your roster well enough to make a well educated stab at where he fits in. He definitely has the talent to be on an NHL roster, but where depends on who has spots open.

Bottom of the roster is filled with vetw, who give some physicallity, expierence, leadership. Top 9 is all about talent, and there are plenty of good enough prospect in AHL, who just wait for roster spot and are 3 years younger than Tyce.
