Still have big Z and Tanev to flip at the deadline for pics if we suck. Even Lindholm if he continues to wait. I think you have to deal him at the deadline if he says he wont commit to anywhere until he hits free agency. His value in that case is highest at the deadline. Can think about extending Zadorov, depending on how the season goes.

The Avs just traded Newhook for a 1st 2nd and a prospect, Girard is worth more and Backlund is a pending UFA, you know COL never does that trade.

The question is irrelevant - the Sabres have said repeatedly that both are untouchables they are not interested in trading.
