I think that swayman trade is fair value, but I don't think Ottawa would do it. Dorion called Pinto untouchable and refused to include him in trade talks for chychrun. If i were Dorion, I'd offer boston basically what you have (the 2nd round pick, decent prospect, plus another asset), but i would also threaten that if they don't accept the deal, i'll just offer sheet swayman with a 4.2 million AAV (i dont think boston can match it givent their cap situation), in which case ottawa would only have to give boston the 2nd round pick.

I think that trade favours BOS quite a bit. Pinto for Sway seems more reasonable, but adding a good prospect and a 2nd makes it more one sided IMO. Alhtough BOS just got Mitchell, Walsh, and Regula yesterday so i doubt they go after more RHD depth rn. As a Bruins fan Id be hesitiant to deal Sway within the div, much rather move Ullmark. But id still probably take that offer, maybe swap JBD for Ostapchuk? or someone similar. Doubt OTT or BOS does it tho
