Lol, hopefully csick doesn't see this because all you'll be doing is pumping his tires. Don't let him get his hopes up! The return won't even be half of this! Read the name bud.

What are you guys saying? It's not a great return at all

7 OA, 39th overall, future 2nd round pick is better than 17th overall, future first, bust

Not future 2nd round pick but a 3rd in 2024, but I agree with you, this is LESS than what they gave up to get him

7th OA vs 17th OA : even if the 2023 draft is better, it is mainly at the top, still doesn't make up for the difference

2024 1st round pick (BOS) + Zadina vs 2nd + 3rd : That 1st could be very late again unless the Bruins finally decline but they usually find a way... so a late first vs 2nd + 3rd

Zadina is a throw in, will compete with many players to crack the Sens roster. There's already 9 guys penciled in at 100% and you gotta find a top-9 guy at the very least.

Trading for Wilson or Dubois doesn't make any sense for Ottawa.

Having Pierre Dorion as our GM for 7 years made any sense?

Gonna be honest the first one I saw was 9+41+3rd.

17 + Bos '24 still isn't preferred, but it depends heavily on how far you think Boston drops.

In this ACGM it was the 9th OA initially? Yeah that would be too good then

And if the trade happens like in this ACGM, you gotta pray that Boston falls hard and that Zadina becomes at least a decent bottom-6 forward.

In one of the ones he links, yeah. He links like 5 different ones, though.
Zadina is alright; the hate is definitely overblown. He is a good 4th liner/decent 3rd liner.

17oa in a much much stronger draft plus an additional first is worth more alone than the pick set that Ottawa gave up

Do you have his advanced stats summary from 2022-23? Because it used to be really poor

How much did his 2-way game evolved compared to the year before?

Better in the center/offensive-zone but certainly not bad defensively.
He is a stark contract to his draft profile.
      Xspyrit a aimé ceci.
