Description

Canes help Eastern foes with their cap issues to get better. That doesnt necessarily bother the canes at all.

I understand Reilly can be bought out but im expecting the 2 centers to re-sign. Boston will have more performance bonuses in 24-25 and need all of their cap space. Bruins would have preferred to move Hall but he said no. Bruins move Debrusk in the deal and then re-sign Bertuzzi. Bruins get two guys who can play on the 4th line for cheap and two good pieces to help them make trades at the 24 trade deadline. I expect a lot of flaming with this deal though. We could switch the 24 2nd for our 24 1st if it makes any better.

The way I've understood it Calgary is looking to get Duclair in the package for Hanifin to play with Huberdeau in the top 6 so I doubt he'd be the piece going to Carolina, wouldn't mind the retention for Florida though. Calgary is also interested in Reinhart but I don't see a world where Florida trades both Duclair and Reinhart and personally I am against trading Reinhart at all.

Depends on what they see their team looking like next season. If they tank maybe but if they try to go for more of a retool doubt they'd sell him.

not really. they may have to move a piece at way below market value, but not debrusk and ullmark +fobort. thats wishfull thinking. unless they plan to sign bert + orlov longterm which you never know with the bruins.

Yea that would be one of the more shocking trades in recent memory I feel like if they did this for some reason.
