Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

Making the moves to secure Miller and bridge Laf. Buy out Goodrow unless you find a trade partner willing to not overcharge. Need to stop kicking the can down the road and find out if you can win with the "kids" in the top 6 while also bringing some newer kids into the mix (Cuylle). I would not rush Othmann unless he completely rocks it in training camp. Bring in serviceable vets like Bjugstad and Hathaway to fill in the 4th line. I would keep as much cap space early and have a good amount of trade deadline cap space available to fill in the gaps for the playoffs.

Dont entirely hate it but not sure cuylle starts on the 3rd line, he seems like a guy who can be eased in on the 4th. You also have othmann who might make the team out of camp in that spot.
Vesey could slide down to the 4th, and you then have a little more flexibility.

I am fine with that. If Othmann makes the team, then it gives the Rangers that much more flexibility. I just want Drury to leave some cap space open so that it builds up and gives them much more to work with at the trade deadline compared to the fiasco they had this year.

Lafraniere or Kreider need to move to the RW ideally but unless that happens we have a hole at RW

Love concept of 4th line, but think it will be more expensive than that. Agree on RW hole, but less confident an existing LW will reliably make that shift. Have more confidence in Trocheck making that move. Something's gonna have to give on LW to make room for Cuylle/Othmann.
