Kings will be getting at least 5 years on that contract if it happens, but don’t hold your breath. The only person unrelated to the Jets that has said it’s close is Pagnotta, who also said Chychrun to LA was a done deal at the deadline last year.

Not only fraudgnotta, I have a very reliable source for this one. Just wait until later tonight or tomorrow. What I can 100% confirm by my source (NHL Level) is Alex Iafallo will be on this deal and Vilardi might be one of the pieces. Byfield will not be moved.

Ken Wiebe (Sportsnet in Winnipeg) saying that he believes Harkins will be part of the deal. Small part, but good for Harkins getting a fresh start if the deal goes through. He doesn't mention anything on the LA side.

FYI - the source I have is the same source that told me Mikey Anderson would get a bridge deal under 2M and all you kings fans were fighting me saying it will be a 4-5M deal.

I liked Harkins, best of luck to him, he looked like he could've been an alright player but was never given an opportunity with any consistency, bounced around the lineup WAY too much.

If I were the Jets I'd be trying to get Kupari, Turcotte & Spence with Cap coming back and a pick. I still think the Habs can offer better for their long term outlook.

After giving this some further thought, instead of just keeping and playing Harkins at his very manageable $850K salary and getting at least the same but quite possibly better results then Barron they're going to throw Harkins into the Dubois trade and then likely pay Barron more then a million, what a well run organization... 🙄
