It's been reported that Sanheim is going to STL in a multi-player trade. The trade should wrap up soon. We sadly aren't going to sign Bertuzzi as they made it clear when they traded him. He wants a longer term deal that Yzerman isn't willing to give. Barbashev is probably a bit cheap.

The expected Sanheim to STL trade triggered my intrigue to play with "how could we get him instead and then how to fix too many left hand Dmen right after" )

One trade that I believe could happen is the Ullmark one as Bruins are in cap hell and will likely be shedding him, Hall and maybe others.
Nonetheless I wasnt going for accuracy too much, just fun

The SJS trade is heavily in DETs favor. A bargain top 4 RD, a promising young RFA and a 2nd round pick for Olli Matta (a guy we absolutely don't need and who will walk as a FA in two years) and a 24 year AHL player who can't crack the lineup. Admittedly I don't know much about Hirose but if he were good enough to justify this trade Detroit would be playing him.
