Retooled the Flames and made all teams involved POVs.

This is the Columbus POV with trades and filling out the roster.

Draft Leo Carlsson 3rd overall, unless for some reason Fantili is there.

Trading for Lindholm I think makes sense as it seems like the last two seasons Jarmo has been trying to really improve the team. If it wasn't for a lot of injuries and some really unfortunate circumstances, I think this team would have been in the running for a playoff spot for a bit. You already know he will have instant chemistry with Gaudreau and can hold down the 1C spot until Carlsson takes it over, then hold down the 2C spot after. More than enough money for an extension next season as well.

I expect a bounce back season from Merzlikins with a better D core and having time to recover from losing one of his best friends. If he does bounce back there is no reason to not expect this team to be battling for a playoff spot.

Not sure when Jiricek makes the team, with the logjam at RD he might have to wait until the deadline or next season.

I expect Bean and Roslovic to walk in free agency next offseason unless Roslovic signs a very team friendly deal.
