Flames get a 1st in two years and two low end prospects (could be wrong) for Toffoli.

I think Toffoli is exactly what the Rangers need for the playoffs, but would need a 23 or 24 1st or a better prospect

Nearly 6 million to have Goodrow on the roster next season with the Toffoli retention and they don't get to pick in this draft class?? I don't think that would work. Retaining half of Toffoli and taking on Goodrow I think you're looking at 2023 1st + condition riddled 2024 or 2025 1st + Goodrow

Rangers aren’t giving up a 1st for a rental and goodrow isn’t waiving for Calgary. Toffoli had 1 good year and he has a low cap hit. But he’s old and a 40/50 point player

Seasons since 2019 he's been on an 82 game pace of 53, 69, 54, 73. To say he's a 40-50 point guy is insanely disingenuous. Careern 82 game average is 52 points. All of which ignores how good he is in his own end. His game fits his age and plenty of players continue to play his style late into their 30's effectively. I think you're trying to sell Toffoli short for sure.

Even so, they can’t/shouldn’t extend another aging player while giving up Laffy or a future core piece in the process lol
