That’s an easy pass for the Canes. Goalies don’t have that kind of value. Hart can just continue to rot with the Flyers until UFA, at which point the Canes might consider picking him up.

Yeah because going the cheap/FA route with guys like Mrazek, Andersen, and Raanta have worked out so well for Carolina in the playoffs. I don't disagree that Kotkaniemi along with a first and second is too much but swapping him out for a B level prospect like Drury to add to that 1st and future 2nd isn't even close to some massive haul. Also, you can't compare Hart's value to the average goalie since 24 year old goalie's with almost 200 career starts and his upside are so rarely traded. Oh, and not to mention that Hart is AT LEAST two years away from being an unrestricted free agent so the Flyers aren't dealing from a position of weakness which you seem to think based on your last comment.
