Description
I feel like this could be a solid offseason. I'm pretty happy with most of the moves and think this team could be decent. Most trades were based off things I've seen but Beau trade was just something that I felt seemed fair (not sure where to though)

IF Pearson is still injured then put him on LTIR, and swap Hoglander out in the Carolina trade and slot him in at 3LW. Also swap a second to TOR for a first and Murray as the backup.

Notes: If Drury can't play 3C, swap him and Kampf around. Coghlan and Hirose split games, with Soucy moving to the right side when Hirose steps in.

Canucks take either Simashev or Willander with their pick (Willander if Simashev isn't there)

TJ Brodie is getting severely underrated. If the leafs move off him they will get more than just a 3rd.

The purpose of trading Beauvillier is to shed cap room. I get he may not be worth a second but why would the Canucks trade a far more productive winger just to save only a million bucks. I can see why you'd say the Wild would accept that deal who wouldn't? I mean what would you rather have a 40 point player who makes 4.1 or a 21 point player who makes 3.1? Oh and the guy who's more productive is 5 years younger.

The leafs would probably look at Beau if the Wild pass

The Canucks needs are not my concern, much in the same way that the OP obviously did not consider the Wild's needs when he made the proposal in the first place.

But in order to make a trade you need to do just that. Teams aren't going to make a trade if they don't think they are making their team better in some way. Whether you like the original trade or not a lot of NHL teams would like to have a 2 million dollar middle six forward who puts up 40 points a year. That's far more plausible then swapping him for Foligno.
