Only I don't like about this from Ottawa, is you're trading a Debrincat for another (arguably worse) top six forward. You can debate whether Debrincat or Ehlers is better but I can say for sure lambert for JBD is criminal. Especially with Ottawa giving up the first on top too vs Wpg's 2nd.

Otherwise I think PHI are the clear winners of this trade and I don't know how much interest OTT or WPG would have in it imo

Personally I'd say debrincat is better than Ellerslie but the difference is the contracts, debrincat is asking for upwards of 8.5 and this Ellerslie contract is an insane 2.5

Personally, I don’t like the idea of using all three retained salary slots for two years for a couple of firsts and taking on a huge cap hit for next year in Wheeler. I’m gonna pass.
