Getting smacked in the ECF for 2 years doesn’t show anything except a decent team. Flyers were a game away from the ECF 3 years ago. Doesn’t mean much now cause nothing was actually achieved. No trophies were won, same thing here with the Canes.

We lost by 1 goal in each game in the ECF including a 4OT game that isn't getting smacked. The Hurricanes still have a 7-8 year window left as prime cup contenders... they'll find a way. The Hurricanes are going to be very competitive for a long time given who they have behind the bench and the way their roster is constructed

And I could tell you the same thing about how TK is entering his prime and will only get better for various reasons but u think he is a 1 season wonder lol. See how telling the future works? Then how do you explain the fact that they've won a round in each of the last five playoffs if they get slapped around in the playoffs? The Hurricanes being Stanley Cup Contenders for the next 7-9 years is the most likely scenario given where everybody is in their careers on the team.
