Trocheck for Girard probably makes sense value wise but Troch has a full NMC and all reports last offseason were that he wanted to stay in the East, so he'd likely nix that. The other trades are just awful though. Trading Miller for one year of Tom Wilson is insane (especially because if they even wanted to extend him he will be 30 by the time the extension starts.) The added 1st is takes it from insane to levels of awfulness I don't have words for. I have no idea what the value would be for Panarin either, but I would hope that player who is well over a PPG at $8m would return more than a second and a 33 year old middle 6 rental. This team is not only worse this year but its worse long term, it doesn't make sense.

If the caps were offered that, they'd change their mind on the whole "Wilson isn't available" thing.

Troch was probably the ideal target for the Avs in FA but he wants to stay east and has a NMC so that won't likely happen.
