If Pesce is traded, half the league will be after him and I don't think Edmonton will be near the top of the list of preferred trade partners for the Canes. This is exhibit A of why. Everyone seems to be offering quantities of what they don't want or what they can live without and it just doesn't work that way. We all do it. It's wishful thinking. Other teams will be a better fit.

I don't think you realize Bourgeault is a first rounder and should be treated as such. Sure there will probably be better offers, but this isn't nearly as bad as you're describing it

I realize this is splitting hairs but Pesce is actually the 3rd best D-man in Carolina behind Slavin and Burns. That's a pretty good top 3. I'm not sure what else is going on there, but in any case I have to reiterate that I doubt we'll be trade partners on this one.
