Arvidsson for free? Hawks say yes and thank you.

So why is everyone getting good players for free, but the pens need to pay?

All of this is pretty bad.

1. Arvidsson isn't a dump. He's a top-6 proven winger on a good team.

2. That Jarry contract is atrocious, with the potential to be 2x worse than the Petersen contract we just got rid of.

3. No thanks on Holl.

4. Iafallo is worth significantly more.

There's more but those are the the biggest issues.

Teams aren’t going to bend over backwards and give up the players actual worth so the Kings can have a good team, they’re gonna need to accept that they’re not gonna get full value. If they don’t trade Ardvidsson and/or Iaffalo, they have no cap space.

I'm not saying they get full value, but they will get value. There will be plenty of interested parties if Arvidsson was placed on the trade block. The Kings certainly won't have to pay to move him.
