NSH has no interest in Garland, and this package is favoring VAN.

To move up to 11 the draft picks needed would usually be a high 2nd and another pick, so by taking back Garland and adding Fabbro we get the lower second, no extra pick and we add a 4th.

NSH needs Fabbro for their top four (if you want one of NSH's RD, Foote is expendable). They don't want Garland. Moving up from #15 to #11 shouldn't cost more than a 2nd, and baring a huge faller like Michkov being available at #11, there isn't a huge separation between the prospects available in the 11-15 range. It's an easy decline for NSH.

Garland has no value and would cost for a team to take them. Teams know about your cap troubles so any cap that you guys want to dump will cost you unless it’s a player of value. In my opinion garland or boeser will either be looked at as negative value or very little
