If you want to go up 16 spots in the draft that’s going to be costly.

This is the best draft position we’ve had in 16 years so if we are trading down I’d want a big return. Realistically I don’t want to trade this pick unless it’s part of a deal for a player that improves us right now (Hellebuyck, Scheifele, Debrincat, or Hanafin).

I totally get that perspective but I think that the Hurricanes deal is the right kind of base for a potential trade... 2 potential roster players, 1st,2nd, and a third is a good solid base for a trade

Would you consider something like #30, #71, Flyers 2024 2nd, Vasili Ponomarev and Aleksi Heimosalmi for #14 and #90 ?

Yeah Thats what I was thinking he'd be like. But we really need him in Carolina he is a really good goal scorer and on top of that he is a right wing and besides Jarvis our right side is crap
