I have a few problems with the NSH trade:
1. We don’t have any room for Brannstrom
2. The deal lacks any wow whatsoever. There’s a bunch of B+ level assets in there, which is not what Nashville wants.
3. Nashville has already had negotiations surrounding Saros with LAK, and the package supposedly coming back for Saros would’ve beaten this out easily. I think the Preds would be looking at Greig as a real enticing piece in this deal

CGY won't want Joseph. They're trying to shed cap and won't see Joseph as an addition to their wings at his cost.

Also you're getting a decent first round pick in a deep draft which would be very good for your rebuild.
the only B+ asset is Jarventie he's been good but has not outplalyed the roster players to get a spot on the team.
forsberg is a decent versatile goalie if you don't want him in the saros trade id gladly keep him for backing up saros.
I don't think Ottawa will trade Greig with all honesty but I think they Could trade sokolov, Ostapchuk, JBD who are all A tier prospects. I didn't add one of them because I thought that was a fair deal but if you want one of those 3 prospects to make the deal fair pick one. It will hurt to trade one but their TOI with Ottawa will be limited.

Gotcha will take note. I only traded for him because I thought NSH would want our goalie in return to fill in the hole saros will leave.

yeah vladar is tricky imo some people see him as a potential starter while I see him as a backup. I could add a pick or prospect in addition but apparently Calgary won't need any wingers.

Wait aren't you guys about to blow some stuff up and trade away some players? if so it might make sense to get Joseph if you end up trading some of your wingers.

On the prospect front, I have a hard time seeing Nashville walking into a deal without the expectation of a guy like Greig (personally, I could settle for Sokolov). I'm fine bringing in Forsberg. He'd work well to give Askarov another year in the AHL

Im sure a forward option could be used instead of a D like brannstrom. im pretty sure eventually were only going to keep one of Kastelic or Ostapchuk so you could probably get Ostapchuk considering he's not on our roster just yet and kastelic is. But I struggle trading ostapchuk because he looks very very promising.

I'm an OTT fan, so I was commenting based on other ACGM I've seen where people have tried to send Joseph to CGY. CGY is for sure going to trade players away, but they have people like Ruzicka, Coronato, Zary, Schwindt, and Pelletier who will all by vying for roster spots at/near league minimum. As a result, I don't think they'd want Joseph or have a need for him; especially when they have Dube who can fill that role at a cheaper price and Mangiapane as well.
