Jackets draft Carlsson who starts in the AHL or bumps Eric Robinson out if he is NHL ready immediately.

I don't love the idea of moving Sillinger after a terrible year, but the Jackets have enough middle 6 center options. The ability to lock in Lindholm at 1C while having several significant rookie contracts over the next couple years give us the ability to be immediately competitive and maximize the window. We have plenty of assets to make a trade like this and Jarmo has mentioned several times that he wants to make more moves and he wants a 1C.

Jackets goalies haven't proven they can stay healthy. A third goalie is a must have and the ability to recoup some lost capital is too good to pass up on.

Jack hasn't worked out in Columbus. His time has come to and end as I don't think any expects him to fare well under Babcock. I feel like Colorado is a better match, but just don't know that they have the capital left to make it work.

Let Jiricek ease into the year in Cleveland but he is the first call up.
