if you actually watched the play sandin stepped out of the way to avoid the hit which is what led to the knee on knee, I dont know how you come away with "tried to take out Rasmus Sandin" from that play but whatever, tampas not trading him anyway

And if you'd watched the play, you'd have seen he moved his knee out to catch Sandin's knee when he dodged out of the way. That's why after review, the refs gave Eyssimont a 5 minute major for kneeing and ejected him from the game.

He barely moved his knee at all that was completely sandins fault from moving his knee into essyimonts and are you really saying that the refs called it a penalty so it must be right? cmon now the refs are wrong more times than theyre right

I saw it when it first happened, the refs saw it when it first happened, then they reviewed it and upheld their decision to eject him, then the IIHF reviewed it and gave him a one game suspension for kneeing, then Eyssimont called Sandin to apologize. I dunno what more you could want.
