I kind of agree Murray is a dump, but two firsts alone is already an overpayment for Hart lmao. It SHOULD cost a mid-late first and a B tier prospect, if another shmuck GM wants to overpay for a goalie who's never posted above league average stats and is widely overrated, then go for it. Take out one of the firsts, Murray, and the retention on Hart and it's more realistic.

I will pass on that. I would much rather keep Samsonov and roll with him, than to pay 2 x 1sts and our 2nd best prospect for Hart.

It would cost the Leafs that 2024 first to rid themselves of Matt Murray. That means the Flyers are getting back a late first and average prospect AND they have to retain on Hart. So silly.
