KK is a solid two-way second-line center and the Canes aren't going to move a contract that's going to be very team-friendly

With FA so sparse, folks will overpay for those 2 and the Canes aren’t in the overpaying business.

Canes pass. 2C's have more value than 2W's. Especially when you consider Kotkaniemi is younger, defensively it's not close, and the difference in production was only something like 15 points, oh AND Kotkaniemi is signed long term to a really nice contract.

Ullmark gets at most a late 1st right now and Boston has cap issues , no team is gonna overpay for the exception that is Ullmark’s play.

Ullmark is a top 5 goalie in the league. They’d dump some of the other contracts like Hall, Reilly, and Forbort before they trade Ullmark for Pennies on the dollar.

Plus no team offer sheets players in order to keep player salaries down so I doubt any team offer sheets Swayman.

Because boston might not be able to match the offer sheet.
