3rd for Vladar seems generous, don’t see him fetching that. Wings paid a 3rd for Husso last year.. a superior tender. Also, giving too much for Debrincat imo.

unfortunately, i dont see stecther signing for that money, I think keep dube and move someone with a higher cap (one of the UFAs for next szn). also Hanifin would be like 3LD on ottawa since they have chabot and chychrun, maybe give them tanev, as a rd top 4 pairing idk

Husso was also a pending UFA and you traded for the right to negotiate with him, you also gave up a 3rd for Ned (which I assume will be the next argument), but Ned was an RFA with arb roghts and the Canes weren't willing to take the arb risk. Vladar on the other hand is younger and signed to a good contract for 2 more years and his stats don't show how well he played as the team in front of him was prone to giving up high quality chances against, while not allowing many shots in total to artificially inflate his SV% numbers. This is why you keep seeing a 3rd for Vladar from several fanbases.

if Cat will not sign long term in OTT, he certainly will not sign long term in CGY
