Buying out Petry, who is useful, and keeping Granlund AND Carter is a head scratcher.

Can’t buyout Carter and you’re not gonna move him without giving up an asset to do so which is why I chose to keep him as the 4C. Bite the bullet. Granlund is a lot better than he showed in his small sample size. He had a tough start in Nashville too then he returned to his 50-60 point player level. I’d give him another go as 3C. PS.. I’m an oilers fan lol

Pittsburgh is probably a top 12 destination around the league so he’s probably have a pretty decent success rate offering these deals.. You're playing a dangerous game too since you have zero cap space and you know Jarry and Bertuzzi are making more money - most likely Kane too even with his injury. Scracthing Hill and keeping Desmith might cover it though.
