It's not sexy but if the few rookies perform to an expected level this team is probably in the playoffs with 100 points. Until the defense core looks like Vegas, Dallas, Florida etc they're going to lose out in the 1st round. Teams who make playoffs runs have big tough d-cores and the Wild have virtually nobody over 6' and over 210 lbs. That will be their problem.

I’d be happy if the flyers used that pick to get Steel. The overwhelming majority of 5ths are more than a long shot. I’d rather take a chance on a 25 year old who was a former first rounder and hope he finds himself. Ideally you’d sign him to a 2 year minimum contract but it would have to be a 2 way.

Yeah personally I'd take it if I'm the Flyers. Sign him to a prove it deal and if he doesn't waive him or just let him play out the year.
