i like the mayfield and hathaway signings although they're boring players (in a good way)
you overpaid for crouse by a lot. you probably get crouse in a one for one with olofsson
gibson is UNBELIEVABLY overrated. like he has not been anything but a B+ starter the last 4 seasons and while a part of that is because of the team in front of him, his GSAX is still below average which is on him. you'd be better off holding on to UPL and levi, or trading for hellebuyck

UPL has more value than gibson does? Luukkonen is a legitimate future starter whereas gibson the last 3 seasons has stunk. he's had an atrocious GAA which is in part to the team in front of him, but poor SV% and bad GSAX as well which is on him.

We have Dostal and if UPL was better, why would you bet adding onto a trade with him in it for Gibson? Why would you trade for a goalie that stinks?

No to pretty much all three trades. Gibson is not necessary, Crouse is also not needed. Dillon would be a nice addition without Jost in the trade.

i never suggested trading for gibson? not once lmao idk what you're on. gibson isn't even a top 15 goalie in the league today and i was simply stating that UPL has more value than gibson by himself so the trade is so one sided

why do you think he's still in the team? if he was worth trading for he would have been gone at last years deadline in the tank for bedard. hellebuyck, saros, sorokin, shesterkin, ullmark, vasilevskiy, oettenger, hart, samsonov, bobrovsky, kuemper, demko, markstrom, hill, georgiev, and arguably both swayman and gustavsson are all currently better than him, on top of the fact you have guys like devon levi, joseph woll, stuart skinner, UPL, joel hofer, dustin wolf, etc. who could also improve next season. i'm not saying gibson can't turn it around, but to say he's been anything but average (even that's being generous) since 2019 is statistically false
