The cbj trade doesn’t make a lot of sense for STL in a sense they are definitely losing value wise. from the cbj standpoint, they have quite the logjam at defense already for the future

Even if you're considering Krug a dump (which lol at 2 1sts to take him), Kyrou is definitely more valuable than Laine. I'd take this and run even if Krug's contract could pose some difficulty in the future.
