With Calgary going with Kadri and Backlund as their top two centers, though? ... I don't mind the Flames getting younger, and getting a prospect, but Lindholm has to be replaced.

I feel like, because of his position, I'd keep Lindholm over acquiring those two players in this swap. Dealing Lindholm would have to involve an excellent center returning, for me.

But, I would take those two guys in Calgary under the right circumstances, but would have to involve trading wingers from Calgary.

It all depends on if CAL thinks Lindholm will resign I guess.

Lindholm is such an undervalued piece in this trade Lindholm is a player with a goal scoring touch Elite defensive game and smart player that would take getting back a 2nd line center and B level prospect plus a 1st or more also he is on a great contract
