I don't really see whats god awful about this? Buy out Granlund get a guy like Bunting or Barbashev and I think that's a pretty decent roster.

I agree buying out Granlund isn't likely - although I wouldn't say highly. With Burke and Hextall gone they don't really have a reason there's no reason for the new GM to feel like he needs to keep Granlund.
